Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common cause of infertility in reproductive aged women affecting ~5–10% of women of reproductive age worldwide. PCOS patients are characterized by infertility disorders, obesity, insulin resistance and hyperandrogenemia that persists during pregnancy.
